The Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies: How to Get That Perfect Soft & Chewy Texture

In the world run by social media, we’re used to all the abundance of recipes that will fit even the most exquisite taste. It also concerns the dessert section that keeps growing thanks to more and more recipes being invented.

However, nothing might be able to compare to the golden classics like everyone’s favorite chocolate chip cookies that are both tender and extremely tasty. To make those, you don’t need to have exceptional cooking skills — just be ready to spend around half an hour in total.

Ingredients: 100 g of soft butter, 100 g of brown sugar, 100 g of white sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 egg, 220 g of all-purpose flour, 0.5 teaspoon of baking powder, a pinch of salt, 150–200 g of chocolate chips.

In a large bowl, cream the softened butter with the brown and white sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and the egg, and mix well.

In another bowl, combine the sifted flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until a smooth dough forms. Stir in the chocolate chips and mix gently.

Spoon the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving enough space between the cookies.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 10–15 minutes until golden brown.

Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet before serving.
