Who is Muse and why is he a good choice as the antagonist?

Looks like we finally know the villain of the much-anticipated series Daredevil: Born Again has been revealed, and it's not who you'd expect.

Daredevil: Born Again is a fresh take on the iconic Marvel character and a soft reboot following the previous Daredevil series that aired on Netflix. The series is set to premiere on Disney Plus in 2024 and will consist of 18 episodes, released in two parts.

The series will see Charlie Cox reprising his role as Daredevil, with Vincent D’Onofrio returning as Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal as the Punisher.

According to the insider Daniel Richtman, the infamous Muse, a character that first made his appearance in the Daredevil comics back in 2012, is set to take center stage as the main antagonist of the first part of the series.

Muse is a character that's as intriguing as he is terrifying. He's not just a villain; he's a sociopathic serial killer with a twisted sense of purpose. Muse believes that his victims are meaningless until he transforms them into his version of "art" using their blood and body parts.

This gruesome belief, coupled with his enhanced speed and superstrength, makes him a formidable adversary for Daredevil.

Muse's god complex doesn't stop at his art. He shows no fear when targeting authorities, even going as far as kidnapping a judge and killing police officers.

With Muse as the main villain, Daredevil: Born Again promises to be a thrilling ride. The announcement of Muse as the main villain in the anticipated series has sparked a flurry of reactions and speculations among fans.

Some are excited about the prospect of a mysterious serial killer as the antagonist, believing it fits well with Daredevil's tone and the popular crime subgenre today. Others are concerned about how Disney Plus will handle such a dark character, given Muse's graphic and disturbing modus operandi.

As we wait for the series to premiere, one question remains: who will portray Muse? That's a secret Marvel is yet to reveal, as well as the exact release date, which is currently unknown.
