This “Burger Salad” Is Both Low-Calorie and Protein-Rich Dinner Option

Remember the famous burger from all-time favorites like McDonald’s or Burger King? For this salad, the same ingredients are required, though experts suggest you use ground turkey or lamb instead of beef.

Here’s what you need: Ingredients: 300 g of ground beef (or any other type of meat), 150 g of iceberg lettuce, 200 g of tomatoes, 150 g of pickled cucumbers, 100 g of red onion, 50 g of burger sauce, 50 g of Greek yogurt, 1 tsp of grainy mustard.

First, fry the minced beef in a dry frying pan until cooked, drain off any excess fat if necessary, and leave it to cool.

Tear the iceberg lettuce with your hands, dice the tomatoes, cut the onion into thin half-rings, and slice the cucumbers.

For the sauce, mix the burger sauce, Greek yogurt, and grainy mustard. Thousand Island dressing or a honey-mustard dressing based on sour cream or yogurt will also work.

Combine all the ingredients, mix gently, and dress with the sauce.
