А fan-made series offers a Spider-Man story you never knew you needed until now.

While we are all eagerly anticipating Tom Holland 's next appearance as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans of the iconic character are not wasting their time.

You will be surprised, but there is actually a fan-made series about Spider-Man currently in the works. The show, titled Spider-Man and the Monsters of Manhattan, is teased in a trailer by Brandon Melo on YouTube.

According to the description, this series seems to offer a depiction of deeper emotional struggles of a young Peter Parker, broken by the death of a father figure. He must confront his past to save his city from looming threats.

It’s a fresh and raw take on the beloved character, focusing not just on the superhero aspect but also on the human side of Peter Parker. Plus, it’s a reminder that Spider-Man is more than just a superhero; he’s a character that many can relate to, especially in his teenage years.

This series seems to promise a deep dive into the emotional and psychological aspects of Spider-Man, something that is often glossed over in big-screen adaptations.

What’s particularly striking about this fan-made series is the evident passion and talent of its creators. Brandon Melo, the youtuber who posted the trailer, takes part in the project as the director and the leading actor.

The trailer looks great, to say the least. Sometimes, you can even forget it’s a fan-made project. The trailer teased not one but three villains: Shocker, Kingpin (Wilson Fisk), and monstrous Scorpion.

The exact release date is unknown, but, according to the trailer, we will see the series (or its first episode) this year.

Surprisingly, it is not the only fan-made Spider-Man project that managed to draw attention. Three days ago, on August, 12, a fan-made film titled Spider-Man: Lotus was released on YouTube.

Spider-Man: Lotus was in the works for a couple of years, and fans finally got to see this fan-made gem. The movie is already close to hitting 2.5 million views on YouTube. If you haven't checked it out yet, you're really missing out.

These fan-created Spider-Man projects really show how much Spidey fans love and dedicate themselves to the character, and it’s exactly the kind of content the fanbase appreciates the most.
