This Stephen King Adaptation Is Your Next Watch While You’re Waiting For Silo Season 3

The mini-series was so good it eventually spawned two more seasons.
Based on Hugh Howey’s dystopian trilogy, Apple TV ’s Silo is already a sci-fi classic that fans don’t want to let go even for a while, until a new season comes along. Luckily, modern TV has a myriad of options for Silo’s viewers to fill the void with, and in this case there can’t be a better watch choice than a Stephen King-inspired hit show.
Loosely based on King’s 2009 novel of the same name, Under the Dome is a mysterious sci-fi drama that actually shares a lot with Silo.
Under the Dome’s Premise is Similar to Silo
Launched back in 2013, Under the Dome is an adaptation helmed by Stephen Spielberg who came on board as an executive producer. The show wasn’t supposed to go further than just one season, but things were extremely good, and eventually Under the Dome got two more seasons that concluded the whole story.
The series follows a fictional American town’s residents who, just like Silo’s characters, face a big threat when a dome suddenly covers the whole town in the pilot episode and now have to come up with a plan of surviving and figuring out what caused the big change.
Despite being an earlier genre example, Under the Dome is still a stunning visual experience that is just as good as Silo’s impressive underground shots.
Under the Dome’s Linda Esquivel Was a Character Prediction for Silo’s Juliette
Just like Juliette in Silo, Linda is forced to take all the responsibility for finding out the truth just because no one else could do it as well as her. Initially a police officer, Linda embarks on her own investigation when she’s left with no other option now that her boss Sheriff Duke is dead after an attempt to tell her everything he knew about the mysterious events.
Both Linda and Juliette end up being people’s only hope and proclaimed leaders that they actually never wanted to be, but can’t renounce since there will be no one who might want to take up their position.
Apart from that, both shows also deal with a psychological aspect of being locked up in limited space where the authorised leaders have an advantage of influencing the inferiors ones’ personal will.
Under the Dome is available to stream on Paramount+.
