The Oscars ceremony is now wrapped up after months of anticipation, and more movies that took part in the race start arriving on more digital platforms for wider audiences to see.

The ceremony’s biggest winners like Anora or The Brutalist have been available for checking out on streaming for quite some time now, though another Oscar winner has just debuted online after a major triumph yesterday.

Directed by a Palestinian activist and journalist, the documentary delves into the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and has recently become its creators’ Oscar-winning film debut.

No Other Land Is Now Streaming for Free

Those who have seen the movie win the Oscar for Best Documentary might now want to check it out as No Other Land has just landed on Channel 4's streaming service and is available for watching for free.

Created by a Palestinian-Israeli collective of filmmakers that comprises Basel Adra, Yuval Abraham, Hamdan Ballal, and Rachel Szor, No Other Land offers the former’s perspective of the ongoing war that has been destroying the Palestinian journalist’s home for years.

Additionally, the documentary comes as a powerful statement for those used to viewing the world in black and white, showing the alliance formed by both Palestinian and Israeli activists, with parties aiming at showing the truth behind one of the biggest tragedies of the past several years.

The Oscar Isn’t the Only Big Award for No Other Land

Surpassing other contenders like Black Box Diaries, Porcelain War, Soundtrack to a Coup d’Etat and Sugarcane, the movie got the biggest prize it could ever receive, though the Academy Award has now joined a vast collection of other prestigious statuettes given to No Other Land.

Having had a world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival back in 2024, the film got the Panorama Audience Award for Best Documentary and the Berlinale Documentary Film Award, also securing some other major awards at big ceremonies like Gotham Awards, New York Film Critics Choice, European Film Awards and many others.

On Rotten Tomatoes, No Other Land currently holds scores of 100% and 91% from critics and viewers respectively.
