Top-Tier Wes Anderson Family Comedy Comes to Hulu in 2 Days

This wholesome adventure is your perfect getaway for a family movie night. It stars George Clooney, Meryl Streep, and Bill Murray.
When it comes to creating something unique and special, nobody can do it like Wes Anderson. His distinctive style has become a signature that we can spot from miles away, even when he decides to venture into stop-motion animation.
Speaking of stop-motion animation, this is a painstaking art form where every tiny movement requires hours of meticulous adjustments. In order to tell a story, you need to nail every single frame. And boy did Anderson nail it!
Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009): A Charming Story With a Heart of Gold
Based on Roald Dahl's beloved novel, Fantastic Mr. Fox follows the cunning Mr. Fox (voiced by George Clooney at his smoothest) as he tries to provide for his family while outsmarting three mean farmers.
The movie is totally family friendly and surprisingly deep at the same time. This is the kind of balance that good animation strives for.
And I don't know if there's any point in mentioning its stunning visuals (because with Wes Anderson, it simply can't be any other way). But besides that, Fantastic Mr. Fox has some pretty witty dialogue that'll make both kids and adults chuckle. Ultimately, it's a great movie for a family get-together.
Fantastic Mr. Fox Has an Amazing Cast Led by George Clooney
The film works also because of its stellar voice cast that brings these stop-motion characters to life. Meryl Streep brings warmth and wit to Mrs. Fox. Bill Murray is hilarious as Badger, Mr. Fox's friend and legal representative.
The supporting cast is equally amazing. We have Michael Gambon, Willem Dafoe and Owen Wilson all brilliant as usual.
But George Clooney, who voiced Mr. Fox, undoubtedly steals the show.
“I thought he [Mr. Fox] was a fun character to play. I remember reading the script and saying to Wes: “Listen, I love it and I’m thrilled to do it, but I don’t know who’ll see it, because it’s sort of made for grown-ups, as well as for kids, and you never know how that plays.” And he said: “Don’t worry about it, let’s just go make the movie and have some fun!” I thought that’s kind of a great way to approach making a film,” Clooney said at the London Film Festival (via indieLONDON).
And it was evident that they were all just having fun. Fantastic Mr. Fox turned out to be highly enjoyable for all ages. This heartfelt story is coming to Hulu this April 4th and you don't want to miss it.
