Dwight Manfredi has out-muscled three seasons of enemies. The fourth season hands him the kind that gets elected instead.

Tulsa King season 4 premieres Friday, October 16, on Paramount+, with episodes rolling out weekly. Sylvester Stallone's Dwight "The General" Manfredi returns mid-crisis: the official synopsis has him trying to legitimize his empire while corrupt politicians, dangerous new enemies and a devastating personal loss pull him back toward his New York instincts.

The headline addition is Gretchen Mol, joining as a series regular. She plays Amanda Clark, a Tulsa politician who becomes central to the fight over Dwight's empire — and that's the structural novelty. Dwight has spent three seasons dealing with people who threaten him with muscle: the mob back east, the bikers, the Dunmires. A politician operates through permits, prosecutors, and press conferences, and none of Dwight's usual answers apply.

The cast sheet

  • Back: Stallone, Martin Starr, Jay Will, Vincent Piazza, Annabella Sciorra, Kevin Pollak, Neal McDonough, Garrett Hedlund, Dana Delany, and Frank Grillo as Kansas City boss Bill Bevilaqua, now in an alliance with Dwight that neither man trusts.
  • New: Mol as Amanda Clark, Eden Lee recurring as the Oklahoma governor's chief of staff — note how much of the new blood works in government — and Scarlet Stallone as Spencer.
  • Behind the camera: Terence Winter is back as head writer and executive producer. He ran season 1, left, and returns after Dave Erickson's season 3 — the show's third change at the top in four seasons, with Taylor Sheridan still executive producing.

Stallone has been selling the season on vulnerability rather than dominance, which tracks with a 79-year-old gangster fighting city hall:

"It's not a show where I'm so dominating that I never get caught off guard."

— Sylvester Stallone, on season 4

On the Bevilaqua alliance, he's blunter: "there can only be one at the top."

Season 4's new regulars are a politician and a chief of staff. Dwight's skill set is from a business where disputes end differently.

The scheduling note

Paramount+ hasn't confirmed the episode count — its own guide lists it as TBA, with databases assuming ten. What is confirmed: this isn't the end. Season 4 was renewed in September 2025, there's no series-finale framing in the marketing, and the Stallone-verse keeps expanding around it, so expect the Tulsa empire to outlast whatever Amanda Clark does to it. Or to him.
