It's been over a decade since Teen Wolf first aired on MTV, and yet fans still can't get enough of its iconic characters, including the show's dynamic duo – Tyler Posey's Scott McCall and Dylan O'Brien's Stiles Stilinski.

And while Posey has moved on to other projects, including his recent stint in the film Brut Force, he still finds himself answering queries about O'Brien, and surprisingly, he isn't sick of it yet.

Tyler Posey rose to fame for his portrayal of the main character Scott McCall in Teen Wolf and has built a successful career since then.

But even though he has done well for himself, and it's been years since the show came to an end, he's regularly asked about his former co-star Dylan O'Brien, who played the role of Stiles Stilinski.

And during a recent interview on the Zach Sang Show, Posey opened up about the endless stream of questions he receives about the actor – more specifically, regarding O'Brien's decision not to participate in the reunion film Teen Wolf: The Movie.

"I love him," Posey said. "I'm never gonna speak for him but he's a huge part of the show and my life and it makes sense."

The actor then went on to compare the situation to that of the band Blink-182 when it famously broke up and fans asked Mark Hoppus about the whereabouts of Tom DeLonge.

Posey acknowledged that the constant questioning about O'Brien could be a little tiresome, but he takes it all in stride.

"It's something that I think might be annoying if I didn't love him and respect him," Posey said. "I understand, he's a huge part of the show but I am the f—cking show," he added laughingly.

"That's something that I was really looking forward to is showing the fans, obviously we love him so much, and you don't love him more than I do, but I want to be respected as being able to carry this sh—t alone," Posey explained further.

But despite the fact that Posey is now carrying the torch alone, he's also quick to point out that he's not really alone.

"There's a huge cast and they're all so good, but this is now my thing and I've earned that," he said.

It's clear that Posey has a deep affection for Teen Wolf and the role it has played in his life, and it's heartening to see that he's still willing to answer countless questions, even if they revolve around his former co-star.

So, if you're one of the many die-hard fans who can't get enough of Scott and Stiles, rest assured that Posey is more than happy to chat with you about it all.

And who knows? Maybe there's another reboot in the works that will bring these beloved characters back to our screens once again.
