Spider-Verse’s loudest rebel is stepping into the spotlight.

After stealing nearly every scene in Across the Spider-Verse, Spider-Punk — the leather-clad anarchist with a guitar — is officially getting his own animated spin-off. The surprise? Daniel Kaluuya isn’t just returning to voice Hobie Brown. He’s also co-writing the film.

That’s right: Kaluuya, known for Get Out and Nope, is helping shape this unapologetically loud, politically charged spin-off. The plot’s still under wraps, but given Hobie’s screen-stealing moments, expect attitude, chaos, and sharp commentary.

The movie is being produced by Spider-Verse vets Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Amy Pascal, and will expand Sony’s growing web of Spider-projects. With Beyond the Spider-Verse, Freshman Year, and a noir series also on the way, Hobie’s getting his moment — and it’s going to be loud.
