Wanda or Dr. Strange? Who's More Powerful in 'Multiverse of Madness' According to Sam Raimi
The 'Doctor Strange' sequel brings together a very explosive duo – Stephen Strange and Wanda Maximoff, both of them being wizards capable of re-shaping reality. And it is still unknown whether these two are friends or foes in 'Multiverse of Madness'.
Sam Raimi was very sneaky when trying to answer who is more powerful in 'Multiverse of Madness' – Doctor Strange or Scarlet Witch.
Given that it's a multiverse, we have to keep in mind there are different versions of both characters, Raimi pointed out when speaking to Fandango, so this is "all a mixed bag of possibilities".
"If you were to pit them against each other, different altered versions of themselves ... there could be a Doctor Strange out there that's more powerful than our Wanda. Or there could be a Wanda out there who is more powerful than our Wanda here," Raimi said.
He acknowledged, however, that Marvel lore suggests that Wanda's magic is "more powerful than almost any of the other characters in this picture".
And it looks like fans are siding with Wanda as well, even though we're still talking about Dr.Strange's solo movie.
Alright, not every fan is ready to give up on Strange.
