In season two, Wednesday is prepared to “die trying” to save her best friend Enid, as revealed in the latest trailer.

This marks a notable shift for the character, as Ortega’s Wednesday admits that she’s “ever willingly returned to a school,” a sentiment Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) echoes in the trailer. Wednesday herself describes her return to Nevermore as “returning to the scene of the crime,” because she knows “where the bodies are buried.” Yet, there’s one body she refuses to bury this season: Enid, played by Emma Myers.
