What Will Happen to Monica Rambeau in 'The Marvels', According to Plot Leak

In an upcoming team-up of Carol Danvers a.k.a. Captain Marvel, Kamala Khan a.k.a. Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau a.k.a. Photon, it looks like the latter is going to play quite a role.
According to a Reddit plot leak, Monica is going to be the one who will have to deal with the movie's biggest danger – the potential incursion triggered by the villain Dar-Benn who opens portals to steal resources from other planets.
In the final fight, as Carol and Kamala try to fend Dar-Benn off, Monica will have to fly through the "tear" between the universes and fix the looming incursion from the inside.
The noble move will have her trapped in another universe, the plot leak claims. Even though the incursion will be prevented, it would seem that Monica ends up stuck in another dimension, which might be the potential cliffhanger of the movie.
It is unclear whether the events described in the plot leak really do reflect the actual plot of 'The Marvels'. With the movie being a year away, there has been little official information about the plot. The latest hook came from 'Ms. Marvel', with its ending scene showing Kamala Khan switching places with Carol Danvers – an event that prompted many fans to think that Ms. Marvel will start off her 'The Marvels' journey from space.
