Beverly Hills, 90210 became one of the cult series of the 1990s. A story about teenagers, friendship, love and social issues glorified the actors and made them idols for millions.

Here’s what happened to them and their acting careers.

Tori Spelling

There were many rumors about Tori Spelling joining the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210. Many people believed that she only got the role because of her influential father who was the producer of the show.

However, Tori had been a part of the project for a full 10 seasons. After its completion she tried to develop her career further, but it did not work out. She appeared in the movies Scream 2 and Scary Movie 2, but after that she mostly took part in low-budget projects.

Shannen Doherty

Shannen Doherty, better known to viewers for her role in the TV series Charmed, became the main brawler on the set. Her salary was the highest among the cast, and her demands were the greatest. For this reason, she was fired from the show in the fourth season.

After filming Beverly Hills, Shannen joined the cast of Charmed, played a supporting role in Riverdale and starred in the thriller Hot Seat. Recently, the actress has been battling with breast cancer and trying to draw the public's attention to the problem.

Brian Austin Green

The role of David Silver went to the actor by a lucky chance – the producer was not impressed by his talent, but really liked his type. However, Brian was able to impress the numerous viewers of the series and dispel the producer's doubts.

The actor’s latest major project was the adaptation of Jamie McGuire's book Beautiful Disaster.

Luke Perry

Luke Perry became one of the main favorites of the fans, mainly due to his role as a bad guy. Unfortunately, after Beverly Hills he could not get more interesting projects. Directors did not see him as a serious dramatic actor, so Perry's career did not work out.

Later, he refused to participate in the continuation of Beverly Hills, not believing in its success. In 2019, the actor died. He had a massive stroke, and the doctors couldn’t help him.

Jennie Garth

Jennie Garth got the role that no teen series can do without. She played the most popular girl in school, a sociable and bright blonde named Kelly.

After the filming was finished, the actress began to actively participate in auditions and took part in projects such as Melrose Place and American Dad. Her most recent project was the low-budget thriller Bad Influence.

Jason Priestley

One of the most positive characters of the series – Brandon Walsh, became the brightest role in the acting piggy bank of Jason Priestley. Despite the huge talent and efforts, the star had no new major projects.

Jason decided to try himself as a producer, and was a lot more successful in this field. Among his directing projects are the series Private Eyes and the dramas Gates of Paradise and Web of Dreams.
