When Will Lady Gaga Appear in ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 & Who Does She Play?

Jenna Ortega has recently said something that changed everything we knew about Lady Gaga’s character in Wednesday season 2. Thought Rosaline Rotwood was a teacher? Wait and see how wrong you are.
Ever since we learned that viral Wednesday dance to “Bloody Mary”/”The Goo Goo Muck”, we’ve been dying to see Lady Gaga in season 2. But those who hoped to see her right from the start will have to prepare for disappointment: no sign of Mother Monster in Volume 1 for us!
However, when Wednesday Volume 2 arrives on September 3, fans better prepare. We have already seen the series’ lead, Jenna Ortega, joining Lady Gaga on stage for Netflix’s Tudum event; and the Wednesday actress has something to say on Gaga’s role in season 2.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Jenna Ortega has described Lady Gaga as “one of the kindest, most grounded people I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with.”
Gaga will portray someone called Rosaline Rotwood. It was previously reported she was “a legendary Nevermore teacher,” but then Ortega dropped a hint that changed everything we knew about the character.
"She's not a teacher. That’s your little clue. She's not. Whatever you heard, it's wrong,” the actress said.
Catherine Zeta-Jones Adds Fuel to the Fire
Zeta-Jones, who plays Morticia Addams in the show, went on to suggest that Lady Gaga may be “related genetically to the Addams family”, then quickly adding “the real Addams family that bounced off the comic pages.”
It would be a stretch to call that a spoiler, but with Ortega’s clarification of Gaga’s role, we can never know.
Lady Gaga to Release a Song for ‘Wednesday’ Season 2
The singer will also release a song titled “Dead Dance” specifically for Wednesday season 2, according to Variety. While she was not officially a part of season 1’s soundtrack, Gaga is coming to change that in the second chapter.
The song and the music video are expected to be released next month, in sync with Rosaline Rotwood’s appearance in Volume 2 on September 3.
