And where can you see her as Arya Stark again?

Even though Game of Thrones ended only 5 years ago, back in 2019, many people were so devastated about the way the writers decided to finish the story, they tried to forget about it altogether. And while many fans have since returned to their screens for the prequel, the actors have moved on with their lives and careers.

One of the younger, but definitely not the weaker ones, Arya Stark has captivated many viewers’ hearts with her journey to become a cold-hearted assassin. However, after playing Arya, Maisie Williams took quite some time off to figure herself out. Here’s what the actress is up to now, and where you can see her.

What to Watch With Maisie Williams

There is a lot of talk about how child stardom can affect a person as they grow up. Having spent 8 years on the set since she was 14, Williams herself admitted to feeling a bit of a loss after Game of Thrones ended. The HBO hit was the actress' first television credit, and she had to find a way to come into her own when it was over.

During the years that Game of Thrones was filming, the actress made a few more appearances in the animated series Robot Chicken, voicing Black Cherry Pie and Didi Pickles, and in the iconic British sci-fi series Doctor Who as Ashildr. She also appeared in several films, including the drama The Book of Love and the period film Mary Shelley.

After the show ended, the actress continued her work in front of the camera. In 2020, she appeared as Rahne Sinclair in The New Mutants. The movie was supposed to be a trilogy, but it failed at the box office, so the plans were scrapped. However, the miniseries Two Weeks to Live, released the same year and starring Williams, was far more successful.

In 2024, the actress will return to television as Catherine Dior in the political thriller The New Look, which tells the story of Christian Dior's rise to success in Paris after World War II. The show is available to stream on Apple TV Plus today.

Recently, Maisie Williams also had the chance to reprise her role as Arya Stark, voicing the character for MultiVersus, a crossover fighting game. So, if you are a video game fan who still has a soft spot for Arya Stark, this game is worth checking out.

And if you feel a wave of nostalgia and want to get back to Westeros, be sure to stream all 8 seasons of Game of Thrones on Max.
