Our favorite love seeker has seemingly laid low. Or has he?

Airing from 2005 to 2014 on CBS, How I Met Your Mother became one of the cultish sitcoms in TV history. It introduced us to five friends, Ted, Barney, Robin, Marshall and Lily, and it was the first one who was looking for love throughout the whole show.

While Neil Patrick Harris and Cobie Smulders, who portrayed Barney and Robin, are staying in the public eye, the Ted Mosby actor, Josh Radnor, is rarely seen on the big screen after 2014. Luckily, there are still some titles starring him we need to check out.

The years after HIMYM concluded Radnor scored one of the main roles in the period drama Mercy Street (2016 - 2017). Later he was employed as the lead of NBC’s Rise (2018), a musical drama about a teacher on his complicated journey to inspire his students to the art of theater.

The same year Radnor guest-starred in Grey’s Anatomy’s episode, but it, however, didn’t help him in his attempt to do a far cry from Ted Mosby, nor did his 2018 comedy Social Animals. It was severely panned by critics at the time and was quickly forgotten.

The next boost of Radnor’s acting career was assumed to be his participation in Prime’s Hunters (2020 - 2023). Starring Al Pacino and Logan Lerman, this conspiracy show centered on Nazi hunters and was really successful as one of the genre’s best shows.

Another notable title starring Josh Radnor is FX’s Fleishman Is in Trouble (2022), quite a brilliant drama miniseries. The HIMYM star there played Adam, the husband of the series’ narrator Libby and the friend of Jesse Eisenberg’s protagonist Toby Fleishman.

Apart from acting, Radnor is also involved in making music, both as part of the group named Radnor and Lee and solo, with his last album being last year's Eulogy: Volume I.

Besides, the actor, just like his Ted Mosby, eventually found his love, as this January he married psychologist Jordana Jacobs. This news had fans thrilled to draw parallels between the iconic character with his never-ending love dramas and Radnor himself.

Thus, it turns out the actor hasn’t yet participated in high-profile projects after HIMYM, but his fans can now pay attention to the lesser-known titles of his filmography.
