Six engagements, five plane tickets to Mexico, and one prophecy delivered on the way out the door.

Love Is Blind's Boston season opened on October 14 with Netflix's usual five-episode dump, and the pods produced six engaged couples: John and Sarah, Wilson and Wilnie, Cam and Aneha, Stew and Jax, Blake and Erika, and Rob and Michaella. Only five made it to the couples' trip — Jax was among the week-one departures, ending her engagement to Stew before the resort check-in. Everyone else is, as of episode 5, officially still together. The asterisks are where the season lives.

The loudest asterisk belongs to Blake and Erika. Blake, a 38-year-old yacht captain, spent the pods torn between Erika, a 37-year-old marketing director, and Benita, a 31-year-old insurance agent who fled the Kosovo War as a child and charmed him with her love of "feisty" Balkan women like herself. He chose Erika.

"You're making the biggest mistake of your life."

— Benita, to Blake, on her way out of the pods

Benita left the experiment in week one, the engagement to Erika went ahead, and Netflix now gets to spend seven episodes testing whether an exit line becomes a verdict.

The scorecard through episode 5

  • John & Sarah — together; the season's resident enemies-to-lovers arc, after Sarah's pod rounds also ran through Morrey.
  • Wilson & Wilnie — together, and the least dramatic proposal of the batch. Wilson's other connection, Malaine, self-ejected after Cam rejected her — ghosting Wilson without a goodbye — and it was Wilnie who broke the news to him, then called her shot: "We're getting engaged whether you like it or not."
  • Cam & Aneha — together; Cam broke up with Malaine to pursue Aneha, who has kept the physical side firmly traditional so far.
  • Rob & Michaella — together, with a flashing warning light: the trailer for upcoming episodes shows Rob getting cozy at a Pod Squad party with Diana, the other side of his pod triangle.
  • Blake & Erika — together, prophecy pending.
  • Stew & Jax — done before Mexico.

Five couples are "still together" by the only measure that exists right now: nobody has aired the breakup yet.

The honest answer to this article's headline question is scheduled, not known. Episodes 6–8 land October 21 with the Mexico trip, episodes 9–11 on October 28, episode 12 on November 4, and the reunion airs November 8 — which is when "still together" stops being an editing decision and starts being a fact. Check back after each drop; the scorecard above will not survive the month intact.
