It feels recycled: Aqua Pups' waters were already explored by Sea Patrol, an earlier underwater sub-series. Fans are getting recycled content instead of something fresh.

Breaking the pup-verse rules: The show plays fast and loose with established Paw Patrol lore, introducing conflicting elements that don't fit with the original world-building (like mer-pup’s transformation).

Copy-paste costumes: The underwater suits lack creativity, appearing nearly identical with minimal differences between characters.

“I still haven't seen much of Aqua Pups, but to me, it's nothing memorable yet. Moby had the potential to be a cool villain who was simply misunderstood, but that rug got pulled out from underneath us and he became yet another generic villain (imo). Coral's fine, but her design's a little too much for me. Otherwise, the missions haven't been very thrilling to me, I'm not big on the new vehicles/outfits yet, and once again, it feels like yet another excuse to shove Skye into everything again,” Redditor FreezingIceKirby wrote.
