Nami is the dream role that will make the actress world famous, but where have we seen her before?

Netflix 's One Piece has done the impossible – the series appeals to both ordinary viewers and longtime fans of the original source material. A well-chosen cast has played a significant role in this: most of the show's main characters are young up-and-comers who have yet to become household names.

Emily Rudd played the female lead role of Nami. For the actress, One Piece became the biggest project to date, but even before the Netflix adaptation, viewers could see her in no less worthy movies and TV shows.

Emily's first experience with filming came in 2013, when she participated in the music video for indie folk band Boy & Bear's song Three Headed Woman.

After that, the actress participated in the creation of short films, and then received the lead role in the television movie Sea Change, which told the story of a girl who discovers her connection with mystical sea creatures.

Emily's next role was in Electric Dreams, an anthology of adaptations of short stories by cult author Philip K. Dick.

The next project of the actress was the popular TV series Dynasty, where she played the role of a minor character, Heidi. The story revolves around the Carringtons, a wealthy family that owns the oil business, and the confrontation between wealthy heiress Fallon Carrington and her stepmother, Cristal.

The actress gained popularity when she played the role of Clara in the TV series Hunters starring Al Pacino, Josh Radnor and Logan Lerman. According to the plot, a group of American citizens in the 1970s was engaged in hunting down Nazis living in the US.

Emily's rise to fame began in 2021 when she starred in two movies of the horror trilogy alongside Stranger Things star Sadie Sink. These movies were supernatural slashers called Fear Street Part Two: 1978 and Fear Street Part Three: 1666.

The most recent project of Emily Rudd was the fantasy movie Moonshot, where she played alongside Cole Sprouse and Lana Condor. The film tells the story of a barista who sneaked on board a space shuttle to colonized Mars.
