Jason Sudeikis or Jason Segel? Fans are struggling to decide whose character they like more.

Ted Lasso is by far the best series you can watch to make you feel good.

There are several reasons for that, like Jason Sudeikis ' charm while portraying the protagonist, or the accurate character development stories that help to realize you are never a lost cause.

But after the new Apple TV+ show, Shrinking, became available, a lot of fans felt the same after watching it, with warmth spreading throughout the body and a sad smile appearing right after you finished yet another episode.

So after experiencing this, it is no wonder that there is an urge to compare. Fans say the atmosphere in the series is heartwarming and funny.

Although Ted Lasso starts the story with the main character being actually well and insanely positive, Shrinking has its main character hitting the rock bottom right away.

Still, we got two complex male characters, who are more than they seem at first sight.

Another thing is the importance of the show's supporting cast, who are actually one step away from stealing the spotlight from the main characters.

They have their own problems, which in the light of the day seem deep enough to pay decent attention to them.

There's Jimmy's co-worker Gaby, who's going through a painful divorce, and an old colleague Paul, a man suffering from Parkinson's, but still trying to make things work with his family.

And in Ted Lasso, there are at least 3 love stories that need our undivided attention. Fans have their own explanation as to why the two shows may feel so similar.

"This show is a bit different from Ted Lasso, but has a similar feel (for obvious reasons) and streams on the same platform. Comparisons are inevitable even though both shows are great in their own right.

Tbh I think I personally like Ted Lasso more, even though I love Shrinking and I'm more a fan of Segel and Ford than Sudeikis. I'm currently on like my 8th rewatch of Ted Lasso to prepare for the new season.

It remains to be seen if Shrinking will have that kind of staying power to me, although I've already watched every episode twice so it probably will," Reddit user Azmoten said.

And last but not the least is the same creative team, of course. Bill Lawrence, one of Ted Lasso creators, is also the showrunner of Shrinking.

One more mastermind of the new show is Ted Lasso's Brett Goldstein aka Roy Kent.

So with these guys writing the show, there's no question left why the fans have so many similar feelings towards them, and thus the desire to compare.
