Widow's Bay just robbed The Pitt at the Creative Arts Emmys: full winners list
The Pitt strolled into Emmy season with 25 nominations, the most of any show on television. It left Creative Arts weekend at the Peacock Theater with four statues.
Meanwhile Widow's Bay — Apple TV's horror comedy about a cursed New England tourist trap, a show that is one (1) season old — walked out with eight, the biggest haul of the entire weekend. That, my friends, is a heist in broad daylight.

Widow's Bay stacked its eight across guest actress, casting, production design, half-hour cinematography, score, music supervision, sound editing and sound mixing. The Pitt got guest actor, drama casting, prosthetic makeup, and original music and lyrics — respectable, but not 25-nominations energy.
Gilpin accepted her Emmy with a self-described manic poem read off her phone, and it deserves its own category:
"Our business is stupid, but actors are the bomb… Let's all lean towards Sam Shepard, and less toward Sam Altman."
Before anyone drafts a strongly worded letter on The Pitt's behalf: its heavyweight categories — drama series, Noah Wyle, all of it — get decided at the Primetime ceremony on September 14, with Mariska Hargitay hosting. The robbery may yet be avenged.
