It's been more than a year of the "Tom Cruise will reportedly portray Superior Iron Man in 'Multiverse of Madness'" saga, and things are still unclear.
We have less than two weeks before 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' finally hits the screens. And yet, with all the trailers deciphered and all frames stopped and zoomed in, we still don't know whether we should expect an Iron Man cameo.
Meanwhile, new rumors continue to arrive. Now, it is speculated that VFX artists behind 'Multiverse of Madness' were told to develop a "Golden Iron Man armor" for the movie, once again bringing the Tom Cruise cameo speculations back to life.
The news hyped people up easily, but some Marvel fans spotted some irregularities with that. To begin with, Superior Iron Man is not particularly known for sticking to the original red and gold colors of his armor, opting for a silver one with a chrome finish.
However, this does not necessarily rule out the possibility of an Iron Man cameo in 'Multiverse of Madness'. After all, Iron Man can have a lot of variants, not just the Superior one.
Tom Cruise, for his part, is not mentioned in any cast and crew lists for 'Multiverse of Madness'.
The 'Doctor Strange' sequel is taking us on a journey to the multiverse on May 6.
