With the spring anime season less than two weeks away, fans of Japanese animation will find dozens of exciting titles for every taste. The year as a whole is going to be incredibly eventful, with both new seasons of beloved series and entirely new stories.
In this list, we have collected the most anticipated series scheduled for release in the spring of 2025.
1. Kowloon Generic Romance
Release Date: April 2025
The anime will tell about thirty-year-old real estate agents who gradually become closer. Reiko and Hajime work and have lunch together, solve problems of tenants in Kowloon and do not seem to get along very well.
They have different tastes: Reiko likes the combination of watermelon and tobacco, new places and newly opened establishments. Hajime is more conservative: he prefers to visit familiar cafes, reminisce about the old days, and tease his colleague. Reiko, in turn, gradually falls in love with Hajime.
2. Wind Breaker Season 2

The first season of Wind Breaker turned out to be one of the pleasant surprises in the spring season of 2024, so it is quite capable of brightening up the next one. It is perhaps a somewhat naive, but quite cozy series about good bad guys.
3. Fire Force Season 3 Part 1

The main character and the fire brigade he belongs to fight against infernals – spontaneously combusting people who later evolved and learned to control fire.
The entire Fire Force No.8 has similar abilities, but they use their powers for good. And it is they who are destined to unravel the mystery behind the appearance of the infernals, which is connected to an old fire in which the main character's family died.
4. Lazarus

In the year 2052, the bright minds of humanity invented a pill that cured all diseases. It was quickly put into production, and life around the world seemed to improve.
Only the creator of the pill suddenly disappeared. And then he reappeared with terrible news: those who took the pill would die in three years. A special unit called Lazarus is called upon to save humanity: find a pharmacist and force him to create an antidote.
5. Witch Watch

High school student Morihito is an oni, or demon, from Japanese folklore. His childhood friend Nico has learned magic and is returning to her hometown – and that's not the only news.
First, every witch needs a familiar: either an animal or a demon. And Morihito is destined to be her servant. Second, the two have to live together – this was decided by their parents. Nico is predicted a tragic fate, so Morihito should keep an eye on his friend.
