With Season 5 Looming, 'Stranger Things' Teases an Unexpected Return — Ready to Roll?

Hellfire club isn’t done with us yet.
While keeping an eye on what’s coming in Stranger Things Season 5, I came across something that instantly caught my attention — especially if you’re into games, good stories, or just miss Eddie Munson.
This autumn, D&D Beyond is releasing a new tabletop game called Stranger Things: Welcome to the Hellfire Club. The game is based on the character of Eddie Munson and promises to recreate the atmosphere of the legendary sessions he used to run as Dungeon Master.
The game is made for 3 to 5 players and includes four unique adventures. Each one offers different paths and outcomes, so no two sessions are quite the same. Along the way, players will face Demogorgons and Demodogs, investigate mysterious crimes by the docks, and venture into the eerie Vale of Shadows.
The game is built to be accessible, whether you’ve played Dungeons & Dragons before or not. It focuses on story and mood, echoing the kind of sessions Eddie Munson might have run. For fans, it’s the closest thing to sitting at his table.
And just to remind us how soon the wait will be over: Stranger Things 5 lands later this year. Volume 1 (Episodes 1–4) arrives on November 26, followed by Volume 2 (Episodes 5–7) on December 25, and a final episode on December 31.
