In Wonder Woman 1984, Pedro Pascal played the villain Maxwell Lord. And there was one aspect of the character's appearance that the actor hated with a passion, and here is what it was.
Pedro Pascal had appeared in about 30 movies when a starring role of Oberyn in Game of Thrones brought him long-awaited fame at the age of 39. Since then, Pascal has been a constant presence on both the big and small screens.
The Mandalorian made Pascal the main dad of Hollywood, and The Last of Us cemented this status. However, few people remember that between these two hit series, Pascal played the role of the main villain, Maxwell Lord, in Wonder Woman 1984.
Pedro Pascal Hated How He Looked in 'Wonder Woman 1984'
While the sequel about Diana Prince was criticized for many reasons, Pascal was considered the only bright spot. However, the actor himself hated one thing about filming this movie.
In an interview with LADbible, Pascal said:
“I grow such sh*t facial hair, but if I were to shave it all off. I really look very [awful]. Strongly disagree with a clean shaven me. I was so appalled by the way I look in Wonder Woman 1984. I loved the movie, but I was so appalled by the way that I looked that I never have gone back unless it were completely necessary.”
Fans agree with the actor's opinion – some believe that he looks like Tobey Maguire without a beard, while others think he looks like the brother of one of the stars of the new Superman movie. Redditor AlwaysRushesIn wrote:
“He looked like he could be Nathan Fillion's brother.”
