From an insecure kit man to the most-hated villain – we've sees all Nate's (Nick Mohhamed) transformations in Ted Lasso Season 2, which culminated in the final episode with Nate's betrayal of Ted, the man who made the former underdog actually believe in himself.

In his interview with TV Insider, Nick Mohammed said that the show's "writers were very clear as to where they wanted to take Nate and they pushed him to this extreme end. I think we all slightly anticipated that people wouldn't be thrilled with where Nate was going."

Nate's evil transformations have prompted a lot of comments on Reddit where Apple TV+ series' fans started to discuss which of Nate's actions were the worst ever. One of the disgusting things Nate did was tearing down Ted's 'Believe' sign. Redditors cannot believe he did it because the sign was an emblem of positivity, hope and optimism throughout Season 1 and Season 2.

Other Ted Lasso fans will never forgive Nate for selling out Ted and leaking the panic attack he had during the game against Tottenham to Trent who was writing an exclusive story about it. This shows how Nate's nature changed – he was jealous that he shared his strategy with the coach and it will be Ted who'll be getting all the credit.

Nick Mohammed believes all Nate's decisions are coming from the fact that he feels abandoned by everyone. It may seem that his promotion from the sidekick to AFC Richmond's assistant coach was sort of recognition of his talent but in the end it only made things worse.

Mohammed said poor Nate "never really had a support network." His mom loves him but he's always been a disappointment for his dad. Ted gives him a little bit of power but throughout Season 2 he is busy with solving his own problems, so Nate is all alone and frustrated and "there's no one to keep him in check."

One of the most shocking moments for the Reddit gang was when Nate shouted at Ted in Season 2 finale. In particular, the three words in his rant to Ted when Nate tells him Ted doesn't belong here and needs to just go back to Kansas "with your son".

"Those three words did it for me. It is clear all season how much it is killing Ted that he isn't with his son, he is in anguish over whether he is making the right choice by being apart from him. Nate brings up Ted's physical distance from his son as an attack on him as a father. It stood out as a particularly cruel, deliberately hurtful statement," says TableTopTherapist.

The release of Ted Lasso Season 3, plagued by all sorts of problems, will not happen in the fall of 2022 as was the original plan. We can expect new episodes some time in 2023.
