I didn’t expect to feel this movie in my bones — and maybe my stomach. In Together (2025), real-life couple Alison Brie and Dave Franco play lovers who fuse into one flesh after drinking from a cursed cave pool. It’s grotesque, hilarious, and weirdly relatable. Think marriage counselling meets Cronenberg.
Brie and Franco lean all the way in — emotionally, physically, horrifyingly. It’s messy, bold, and the kind of love story that makes you squirm and think, "Am I this attached too?".
Directed by Michael Shanks, the film premiered at Sundance and hit theatres July 30 via Neon. Critics are raving (and retching). It’s a gory metaphor for codependency — and I’m totally here for it.
