You Have Just 1 Day to Watch This Thriller With 91% Audience Score Before It Leaves Netflix

The movie stars the late Chadwick Boseman in one of his last movie roles.
It’s the end of the month, and Netflix has one final warning for those who still didn’t give a watch to movies that will leave the platform already on March 1.
Keeping up with its own tradition, the streamer will replace the forever gone with new exciting arrivals, but the platform’s users better check out the list of departing flicks before they’re actually nowhere to be found.
One of those is also an action thriller that stars Black Panther’s actor Chadwick Boseman as a lead; the movie became a controversial matter upon its release in theatres back in 2019, though received wide acclaim from the audiences and probably kept thriving on Netflix too.
21 Bridges Will Leave Netflix on February 28
As the streamer unveiled sometime at the beginning of February, the Boseman-led action-packed movie 21 Bridges won’t be there starting from March 1.
Produced by Marvel’s darlings Anthony and Joe Russo, the film has a star-studded cast that, apart from Boseman, comprises Sienna Miller, J.K. Simmons, Stephan James and Taylor Kitsch.
21 Bridges primarily follows Andre Davis, a successful NYPD Detective struggling to live up to the legacy of his father, also a Detective murdered while on duty years ago. Soon Davis gets a chance to prove himself once again as he accidentally uncovers a major conspiracy and embarks on a search for two young cop killers.
However, the story gradually gets more entangled, with Davis not having it clear about who he chases after and who chases after him. When things become too complicated to handle for him alone, the city authorities decide to close all of Manhattan’s 21 bridges to cut off all possible escape ways for the criminals to use.
21 Bridges Was Crashed by Critics, but Praised by the Audiences
Even with Marvel’s vets having the movie at their helm, 21 Bridges turned into a major flop when it premiered in theatres back in 2019.
With a budget of $33 million, the film grossed a bit less than $50 million; additionally, the critics weren’t charmed either, considering that 21 Bridges’ critical score on Rotten Tomatoes is currently 55% of positive reviews.
However, the movie still had some more success with the viewers, garnering an unexpected rating of 91% on the same platform. The film’s upcoming departure from Netflix might be a great reminder for those who have been delaying it for too long.
