Did Matt LeBlanc feud with his co-stars? Was he unhinged on set? Did he sleep with Jennifer Aniston? The answer to all these questions is no… but who was spreading the rumors?

One of the most iconic sitcoms of all time, Friends had a phenomenal 10-year-long run on TV and still remains insanely popular. The audience knows pretty much everything about their favorite stars, and one of the key points is that they were all getting along really well and had fantastic relationships. At least, that’s what they said.

Because at least one person was spreading vicious rumors about the situation on the set, especially slandering Matt LeBlanc — the actor who played Joey. They spilled quite a lot of beans when talking to Radar Online. What did they say?

First of all, they claimed that LeBlanc had quite a bad relationship with his male co-stars, especially Matthew Perry. According to them, LeBlanc considered Perry an “a**hole” and even “wanted to pound on Matthew a couple of times.” When it came to David Schwimmer, apparently, Matt considered him to be “kind of dry.”

Second of all, they said that Matt LeBlanc and Jennifer Aniston had a thing going while the actress was still with Brad Pitt. Sounds wild, doesn’t it?

“He got on very good with Jennifer Aniston. He even had a relationship with [her]. They would make out in the dressing rooms. He told me about it, it was when she was married to Brad Pitt,” the source claimed.

Now, these are all pretty serious accusations, so you might be wondering: who was this mysterious insider whose sole purpose was seemingly to make Matt LeBlanc look as terrible as possible?

Lo and behold: it was Paul LeBlanc, Matt’s father!

All of his claims were strongly denied by Matt LeBlanc’s representative, Jennifer Aniston, and virtually everyone else. However, the real question is, why would he say all these things about his own son? Apparently, the answer is simple, and Paul revealed it himself: he and Matt didn’t get along, and the father was frustrated.

“I'd rather he was poor and be a human being. I'm obviously proud of what he's achieved but he has no compassion. The more money he makes the more ruthless he gets. He's still my son but I'm very hurt by what he's done and the type of person he's become,” Paul LeBlanc claimed in the same interview.

While this might be at least partially true, from every other interview of the Friends stars the one thing you generally make out is that the cast always stuck close together and defended each other’s reputation against similar claims. So either the accusations are false or every core actor of Friends is in on a big lie… that serves no purpose.

Do you believe Matt LeBlanc’s father?
