Looks like 'Riverdale's biggest heartthrob is looking for a way out. Now in its 6th season and just renewed for the next one, The CW's biggest show is possibly nearing its end.

As a part of his big interview to GQ Cole Sprouse discussed his career in film, particularly his tenure in the 'Riverdale '. 29 years old star expressed his gratefulness for the show that kickstarted his career, but "ultimately [is] ready to grow again."

Maybe the young star is just tired of the hassle, but perhaps it has something to do with the 'Riverdale' production process.

"I'm not a creative force behind [Riverdale]. I actually have no creative control. We show up, receive the scripts often the day of, and we're asked to shoot", Sprouse revealed to GQ.

Looks like the atmosphere behind the scenes of the popular teenage drama is not as peaceful as expected. Sprouse's comments correlate with those of his co-star KJ Apa, who one time compared working on the 'Riverdale' set to "being in jail".

Up-and-coming talents working on the show are probably tired of playing the same parts for the last six years, and as Sprouse put it, are "[ready to] wrap it up with a bow".
