I have to say, the news about Peacemaker Season 2 already has me buzzing. Insiders have beaten the calendar again — the season doesn’t drop until 22 August, but the leaks are everywhere, and honestly, it’s thrilling and terrifying at the same time.
This season, Christopher Smith isn’t just keeping the streets of his hometown safe. Apparently, he’s venturing into a parallel universe where he finally gets all the fame, respect, and hero recognition he’s ever dreamed of.
Posters, glory, the whole lot. Sounds like a dream, right? But as the official synopsis warns,"a new life comes with dangerous consequences". And yes… one of those consequences is the early demise of John Cena’s character.
Yes, you read that right – insiders are saying Peacemaker will literally have to take out an alternate version of himself. I can’t stop thinking about how wild that is. It’s so James Gunn – no eternal status quo here; characters grow, break, and sometimes regress.
Smith himself has changed dramatically since Season 1, and now he’s literally facing his own demons in a parallel world.
