10 Projects With 'Wednesday' Cast I Can't Wait to See

The second season for Netflix’s show isn’t the only exciting thing that Wednesday’s leading cast has in their careers right now, so you better save these titles for an early watch once they’re out.
Wednesday’s highly anticipated season 2 might be one of the biggest releases this year, but there’s much more to come for those who we’ve all loved seeing on the screen in Tim Burton’s horror-ish drama.
Career ambitions of Wednesday’s leading stars like Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers and Hunter Doohan aren’t limited to Netflix’s series, so expect nothing less but a whole collection of compelling new dramas released both in theatres and on streaming platforms.
In case you need something to stick to after Wednesday’s season 2 part 2 hits Netflix on September 3, here’s a list of several more anticipated projects starring the show’s actors.
‘The Gallerist’
Starring Wednesday’s Jenna Ortega and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Cathy Yan’s upcoming thriller The Gallerist centres on Natalie Portman’s character and art dealer who comes up with a tricky scheme of selling a corpse as a piece of art at Miami’s Art Basel.
‘Klara and the Sun’
Based on Kazuo Ishiguro’s award-winning novel of the same name, Klara and the Sun will star Jenna Ortega and Steve Buscemi.
The former will be taking on the role of Klara, an Artificial Friend purchased to combat teenage loneliness who starts forming close bonds with a sick teen named Josie, as well as with her family.
Untitled J.J. Abrams Movie
Rumoured to be titled Ghost Writer, Abrams’ upcoming fantasy drama stars Glen Powell, Jenna Ortega, Emma Mackey and Samuel L. Jackson, with the storyline presumably revolving around a married couple who has to face a supernatural entity.
‘A Good GIrl’s Guide to Murder’ Season 2
Coming from Holly Jackson’s follow-up novel to A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, the upcoming second season for Netflix’s hit criminal drama series will see Emma Myers reprising her role as Pip Fitz-Amobi, a high school student who investigates an old criminal case.
‘Evil Dead Burn’
Another instalment in the horror franchise Evil Dead, Evil Dead Burn is set to star Hunter Doohan in one of the leading roles while the film itself promises to become an ultra-visceral horror experience that will push the franchise’s boundaries.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2
Marvel’s revival of Daredevil’s story is coming back with another season next year, and though Hunter Doohan’s involvement isn’t confirmed yet, his Muse might not be so dead at the end of the first season — so keep an eye on Daredevil: Born Again’s updates.
‘Severance’ Season 3
Though we don’t know yet whether Gwendoline Christie’s Lorne will show up in Severance’s upcoming season 3, we definitely hope to see her there even for a couple of minutes.
The show’s next instalment isn’t in the production yet, so don’t expect it to be dropped on Apple TV+ anytime soon.
‘Wild Horse Nine’
Directed by Martin McDonagh, the upcoming thriller drama stars Sam Rockwell, John Malkovich, Steve Buscemi, Parker Posey and Tom Waits. The plot remains under wraps so far.
‘Return to Silent Hill’
Christophe Gans’ upcoming psychological horror movie will come as a third instalment in the Silent Hill film series and will star Wednesday’s Evie Templeton as Laura, a character she has already portrayed in the “Silent Hill 2” game remake.
‘Task’
Led by Marvel’s Mark Ruffalo, the crime drama miniseries will also star Jamie McShane who portrayed Sheriff Donovan Galpin in Wednesday’s first two seasons.
The storyline will revolve around an FBI agent who is tasked with ending a series of violent robberies.
