Tyler’s Shocking Season 2 Arc Teased by ‘Wednesday’ Star

Wednesday’s most terrifying villain is back in season 2, and you might have already seen him in Marvel’s hit superhero show.
All the biggest evil is unleashed in the finale of Wednesday’s season 2 volume 1, and this also includes the eponymous character’s long-standing rival Tyler aka the Hyde.
In the show, Wednesday’s initial friend and a local coffee shop barista, but in reality the hideous monster is portrayed by American actor Hunter Doohan who is also the son of the Australian tennis player Peter Doohan.
The actor rose to stardom after appearing in Apple TV+’s 2019 legal crime drama series Truth Be Told as the younger version of Aaron Paul’s character, but Marvel fans have also seen him taking on another major role in a superhero TV series this year.
Hunter Doohan Stars as Bastian Cooper in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’
In Marvel’s hit show that explores Daredevil’s history even further, Doohan portrays Bastian Cooper aka Muse, a masked serial killer in New York City who makes art with the blood of his victims.
The actor landed the role after delivering a stunning performance as the Hyde in Wednesday, so no wonder some thought he would be just as good in another villainous role with a bad ending — something that Doohan himself doesn’t really get.
“That character was so fun. I don’t know, one, why people see me as a serial killer so much, or two, why I seem to get shot in every single TV show I do. There are some sleuths out there, because some people did figure it out way early on”, the actor told IndieWire in a recent interview, also adding that he would love to reprise Muse’s role in the second season.
Hunter Doohan Teases “More to Come” for Tyler in ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Part 2
Now that Doohan’s Hyde is free to bring everyone that wronged him to justice, Nevermore Academy is facing a threat bigger than ever — still, the same applies to Tyler.
As Doohan revealed in an interview with Variety recently, “there’s more to come” for his character in the next part, even though now he might be feeling unbeatable.
“Tyler has a crazy arc. I don’t want to spoil anything, but they kind of established in episode four that he thinks he’s freeing himself of the master, but from Wednesday’s conversation at Willow Hill, we learned that the Hyde can’t survive without a master, so he has no idea what he’s done to himself yet”, Doohan said.
Wednesday’s season 2 volume 1 is arriving on Netflix on September 3.
