Be careful – these episodes will make you turn on the show right away.

This year, Sex and the City turned 25. Although it premiered in the late '90s, the show is still relevant today, dealing with everything from emancipation and feminism to toxic relationships and self-discovery.

And even though the sequel And Just Like That was released, we all know that the OG show will forever remain a classic. And if you suddenly find yourself wanting to revisit Sex and the City, you don't have to watch every single episode. There are the top five that best represent the whole show.

1. The Man, The Myth, The Viagra

This episode is perfect for those who have always wanted to watch Sex and the City but didn't know where to start. The Man, The Myth, The Viagra captures the best of the show, from the sugar-sweet romantic scenes in rainy Manhattan to Samantha and her many lovers.

Also in this episode, Mr. Big unexpectedly shows Carrie his best side when, after much resistance, he finally shows up for dinner with her friends. He breaks stereotypes and proves to Miranda that sometimes men do keep their promises.

2. Ex and the City

Sex and the City was at its best when Carrie Bradshaw was at her worst. Ex and the City is an episode that perfectly demonstrates her full emotional intensity. The main character's heart (and ours, too) is shattered after Mr. Big announces his marriage to Natasha.

What's worse is that at the very beginning of the episode Carrie believes that Big still loves her. But near the end, it turns out that all along he was infinitely far from Carrie's expectations.

3. Running With Scissors

Running With Scissors is an episode of truly epic events. Even for Sex and the City. The drama reaches its climax when Carrie and Big are once again surrender to passion, neglecting the feelings of their partners. Mr. Big seems to completely forget about his "perfect" Natasha, and Carrie experiences tremendous feeling of guilt because of Aidan.

Meanwhile, Miranda is being harassed by a giant hot dog.

4. The Big Journey

While the main storyline of the episode revolves around Carrie and Samantha's fun road trip to Napa, the best part of the episode comes from Harry and Charlotte, whose romance is finally taking off.

Harry successfully seduces Charlotte by telling her everything she ever wanted to hear from a man. However, Charlotte herself tries to come to terms with the fact that her new boyfriend does not fit any idea of a perfect man. Fortunately, after another touching conversation, Charlotte finally goes all in.

5. An American Girl in Paris

Unlike most endings to our favorite TV shows, the finale of Sex and the City left few indifferent or disappointed. Everything happened exactly as it was supposed to. An American Girl in Paris is as good as it gets.

Mr. Big is finally ready to admit to Carrie that she is the one he has been looking for all along. And Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha once again prove that they (not Mr. Big) are the most important and necessary people in Carrie's life.
