6. Sister Mary Eunice
Season: “Asylum”
Sister Mary Eunice starts as a sweet, innocent nun whose body becomes the perfect vessel for a demonic entity.
The scariest part: how innocence gets twisted into evil. Sister Mary's possession is downright disturbing because the demon takes her pure-hearted nature and flips it completely upside down.

Season: “Cult”
Kai Anderson might be the most realistic villain in the AHS universe, which makes him all the more frightening. Played by Evan Peters, Kai is a charismatic manipulator who builds his cult by identifying people's deepest fears and promising protection (only to exploit them completely).
The scariest part: he could totally exist in real life. Unlike supernatural villains, Kai's manipulative ability to prey on the vulnerable makes him terrifyingly plausible.

Michael Langdon, the literal Antichrist from “Apocalypse,” had one simple goal: end the world.
The scariest part: his power combined with his disturbing charm. Besides, he nearly wiped out existence itself, which earns him major villain points.

James Patrick March is the charming yet deranged builder of the Hotel Cortez, which he designed specifically as his murder playground.
The scariest part: his old-school gentleman act mixed with absolute psychopathy. And we won't let you forget that March hosts the infamous Devil's Night where history's most notorious killers gather annually.

Dandy Mott is the rich kid turned killer who treats murder like it's his favorite hobby.
The scariest part: his total lack of empathy mixed with childlike excitement about killing. Dandy has fun murdering and he's treating violence like a game. His tantrums when he doesn't get his way make him extra unpredictable and terrifying.
