The actor’s most recent crime drama show with 98% RT score has been ruling over Netflix for a week now.

For big streamers, spring is always that time of the year when major releases are finally happening, and Netflix has recently got its new darling show fans might not be over anytime soon.

Having premiered on the streamer’s platform on March 13, Adolescence turned out to be an addictive crime drama miniseries revolving around a 13-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of a murder of his classmate.

The gripping and gut-wrenching story also stars Stephen Graham whose performance as the boy’s father Eddie Miller has so far received numerous accolades, highlighting the actor’s immense talent that just steals the show.

Whether you’re already done with Adolescence or taking things slowly with a series that has only 4 episodes in total, these movies and shows starring Graham are there for you to become your next watch.

This Is England (2006)

Featuring one of Graham’s greatest roles to-date, This Is England is a gripping coming-of-age drama that, just like Adolescence, explores the theme of toxic masculinity that ultimately makes a young boy’s life fall apart.

The movie follows Thomas Turgoose’s Shaun, a troubled 12-year-old boy who lost his father in the Falklands War, but whose ability to stand up to a group of skinheads’ teasing earns him their respect.

Desperate to have new friends, Shaun joins the group, but things change when its former member, a racist ex-convict Combo, comes back; obviously frightened by the latter at first, the boy eventually finds a father figure in the one that doesn’t fit for this role in the slightest.

Snatch (2000)

In a second movie directed by Guy Ritchie, Graham delivers one of his most lighthearted performances, which goes in big contrast to his later works becoming a true shock and a heartbreaking matter for many of the actor’s fans.

In fact, Graham’s role in Snatch does seem so natural it’s actually easy to forget he’s even been there, especially when his performance goes on to the same level as the ones delivered by the movie’s leads Brad Pitt and Benicio del Toro.

Remaining one of the highest-rated films in Ritchie’s filmography, Snatch inherits the ideas of the director’s first ever feature movie Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, also adapting the latter’s visual styles and starring a decent amount of the same actors.

Boiling Point (2021)

Graham’s first collaboration with Adolescence’s director Philip Barantini, Boiling Point is another mesmerising cinematic experience shot in a single take.

The movie is based on a 2019 short film of the same name, also starring Graham and directed by Barantini, following charismatic, but hot-tempered head chef Andy Jones who tries to keep things from falling apart in one of the best restaurants in London.

With a premise that might sound like something very familiar to the fans of Hulu ’s The Bear, Boiling Point is a gripping and pretty stressful kitchen drama about a chef trying to handle multiple crises and stay away from going into complete madness when a health and safety inspector pays a sudden visit.

The Irishman (2019)

Back in the day, Graham also starred in Martin Scorsese ’s acclaimed gangster drama The Irishman, taking on the role of mobster Anthony "Tony Pro" Provenzano and constantly clashing with Robert De Niro’s Frank Sheeran on the screen.

This isn’t the actor’s first collaboration with Scorsese though; they previously worked together on the Leonardo DiCaprio-led historical drama Gangs of New York and HBO’s period crime drama Boardwalk Empire.

A Thousand Blows (2025 — )

Teaming up with Peaky Blinders ’ creator Steven Knight, Stephen Graham offers one more TV novelty of his own to those who are desperate to see the actor bringing yet another dramatical performance to the screens.

Set in the 1880s’ London, A Thousand Blows follows Hezekiah Moscow, an immigrant from Jamaica looking for an opportunity to make himself a name in the boxing world.

However, he soon faces a major obstacle when life brings him to the same ring with Henry "Sugar" Goodson, the self-declared emperor of the East End's boxers who has his own inner battles to fight.
