These legends are the main characters in any story.

Here are seven awesome characters who have captivated the audience from their first scene.

7. Mindy Chen (Emily in Paris)

Most viewers have a love-hate relationship with this show. Lily Collins is a delight, but the writing is questionable at best. However, everyone can agree that Emily’s bestie Mindy is amazing. Whenever she is part of the scene, no one can even remember why they are mad at this ridiculous series. A Mindy-centric spinoff with her world tour, anyone?

6. Erica Sinclair (Stranger Things )

Lucas’ younger sis was first introduced as a comedic relief in season 2, but the audience loved her so much that she was promoted to a series regular in the next season. Erica’s sassy remarks and hilarious demeanor are scene-stealing attributes, and viewers can’t wait to see more of her in the show’s final season! We’d watch Erica take down the Upside Down solely with her snarky attitude anytime, would you?

5. Molly Hooper (Sherlock )

Originally intended as a one-episode character, Molly conquered the fans’ hearts and became an integral part of the detective series. Sherlock and Watson are compelling to watch, but let’s be honest, they would be nothing without Molly. Imagine a sequel show, and it’s just Molly rolling her eyes at another one of Sherlock’s shenanigans. Yes, please!

4. Jaskier (The Witcher )

Now that The Witcher is doomed because Henry Cavill has left and Liam Hemsworth is taking over as Geralt of Rivia, all we really want is to listen to Jaskier’s songs all day long. Have him tour the Continent in a spinoff, we don’t care, we’ll watch anything as long as Joey Batey is in it.

3. Janice (Friends)

We bet you can hear Janice’s soul-awakening laugh at the mere mention of her name. Chandler’s ex-girlfriend is one of the most memorable TV characters of all time (and it’s all thanks to Maggie Wheeler’s portrayal), and she deserved better than waiting around for Chandler to grow up. We need to see Janice’s solo adventures ASAP!

2. Charlie Bradbury (Supernatural )

Charlie’s death left a hole in our hearts that will never be healed. Still, Felicia Day’s perky personality has won over the audience ever since her first appearance in the series, and she kept coming back, taking another piece of our souls with her every time. We should’ve seen her thrive in her own spinoff, not needlessly die in one of Supernatural’s episodes, period.

1. Daryl Dixon (The Walking Dead )

OK, that’s a little bit of cheating because Daryl is getting his own show soon, but still. This character wasn’t even in the original comics, but Norman Reedus made him so three-dimensional that Daryl basically became the signature face for The Walking Dead franchise.

Would you watch any of these spinoffs?
