The streaming giant keeps ignoring a big part of its world audience.

Netflix continues its long-standing tradition of dropping more of new flicks on a daily basis, though this week marks yet another case of the streaming’s discrimination.

As it turned out, Netflix has just welcomed a highly anticipated horror to its platform, though for now it’s only available to subscribers in the UK and Ireland. However, those who want to check out the new eerie movie outside the northern countries have some other options to consider.

What Is Baghead About?

Initially released back in 2023, the horror titled Baghead stars Freya Allan as young woman Iris who, heartbroken after her father’s sudden death, finds out that she’s now the new owner of a centuries-old pub.

Signing all the necessary papers, Iris has no clue that the bar is hiding a supernatural being in its basement and, when she notices a shape-shifting creature herself, she realizes that the monster may become very profitable for both her and for those customers who have recently lost their loved ones.

Able to turn into any dead person for just two minutes, Baghead serves as an unexpectedly and newly found way to let grieving people talk to their deceased friends or relatives, but breaking that two-minute rule may bring terrifying consequences to Iris.

Determined to get rid of Baghead before it eventually gets rid of her, Iris embarks on a mission to take all the control over the supernatural creature.

Upon its release last year, Baghead came as a total disappointment to both critics and viewers. The movie grossed around $6 million against the initial budget of $5 million, not able to break even, and landed miserable scores of 31% and 39% from professionals and the audience respectively on Rotten Tomatoes.

How to Watch Baghead at Home Now?

Baghead is currently available for watching on Netflix, but only for subscribers in the UK and Ireland.

The US viewers can rent or buy the movie on Prime Video and Fandango at Home, as well as watch it with their AMC+ or Shudder subscription.
