Bridgerton fans have calculated the most realistic release date for the Polin season.

With two hugely successful seasons under its belt, Bridgerton has become a Netflix hit and an object of obsession for millions of fans who can't get enough of its romantic Regency-era vibe.

However, the creators of the beloved show aren't spoiling its huge fanbase with new information or marketing surprises. Although almost a year has passed since the release of Season 2, fans still don't know much about the next chapter.

Season 3 will be based on the fourth novel by Julia Quinn and will focus on the love arc between fan favorite Penelope Featherington and the third Bridgerton sibling, Colin.

Among fans, their pairing is known as Polin. The cast has given some interviews about the Polin season, but other than it will be steamy, the plot has not been revealed.

The most frustrating thing for fans is the lack of any release announcements.

So, in true Sherlock Holmes fashion, the fandom has taken matters into their own hands and calculated the most realistic release date for Season 3. Fans think it could be August 25th.

The poll on the subreddit dedicated to Bridgerton shows that the majority of viewers believe that the Polin love story will not hit the screens before that date. The reasoning behind such calculations is ironclad.

Judging by the previous seasons, which premiered on December 25, 2020, and March 25, 2022, it's safe to assume the Bridgerton marketing team has its eye on the 25th. Also, both dates were Fridays. And August is the only month this year where the 25th falls on a Friday.

Not only that, but with the premiere of the Bridgerton prequel Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story on May 4, it's very likely that the creators won't want to steal its spotlight by releasing Season 3 too early.

At the same time, it was announced that the two shows will air in proximity to each other, making August the perfect month for the release. It would give the prequel four months to shine, but with an appropriate gap.

With the filming for Bridgerton wrapping up, 6 months of post-production sounds more than feasible. Season 2 only had 4 months to do that.

So fans are expecting the new season to be released in August at the latest.
