Be careful: you might feel the urge to storm the HBO headquarters and demand the release after reading this.

It's no secret that not every scene filmed on set makes it to the final cut, but with House of the Dragons, one could possibly assemble a separate episode from all the scenes that were cut from the first season.

Here are all the scenes that have been filmed but ended up being removed from the final cut.

First of all, yes — Daemon Targaryen comforting his daughters after the death of their mother, Laena Velaryon. This scene being cut is something that fans have been fuming over for several weeks, arguing that it was removed in order to portray Daemon as a villain who does not really care about his family. The fact that another scene that showed him sitting in the seawater after his daughter ended up being stillborn was also cut only fueled the fire of fan outrage.

Then, a couple of scenes between young Rhaenyra and Alicent were also cut. First, we never saw how Rhaenyra helped Alicent prepare for the wedding, even though pictures from the scene emerged online.

We also never saw how Rhaenyra confronted Alicent when she knew that she was about to marry her father, King Viserys — a scene that could add even more drama to the duo's relationship.

Another scene that was cut showed King Viserys being devastated after the death of his wife Aemma and also the passing of his son Baelon who also did not make it after the birth.

Jumping to the infamous family dinner that King Viserys threw shortly before dying — it turns out that Daemon actually said a toast, but we never got to hear it.

Then, a scene that showed Rhaenyra helping Ser Criston Cole get into his armor when he was sworn in as kings guard also did not make into the final cut.

The One House of the Dragon Scene Even Matt Smith Found "Icky"

Among the scenes that did not make it to the final cut are also the moment when Daemon and Rhaenyra bring their kids into the Red Keep, and Viserys trying to tell his brother the prophecy he cared so much about. Besides, the final cut also never featured the scene that apparently confirmed that Daemon was "a bisexual king", as fans put it.

The show also did not include the scene of Daemon being told about the death of Lucerys. Besides, a couple of scenes of him and Rhaenyra enjoying the tensions between them were also cut.

The final cut also does not feature a scene of the rogue prince sparring with a new helmet on, as well as the scene of Rhaenys having a different hairstyle. Also, an interaction between her and Baela also did not make into the final version of the show. Finally, a scene between Rhaenyra and her older son Jacaerys was also cut.

It also appears that the deleted scenes will not be released on Blu-Ray — which is how the Game of Thrones deleted footage was made public. This has already prompted outrage among fans who still want to see the scenes, albeit not as a part of the show.

House of the Dragon season 1 is available for streaming on HBO Max, with season 2 to begin filming in early 2023.
