'And Just Like That' Creators Hate Charlotte & Here's Why I Think So

Sex and the City is a cult classic, but there’s more and more reasons to believe that the revival didn’t live up to the OG series success. And one reason is Charlotte.
Every Sex and the City fan had at least once tried to identify with one of the main characters. Samantha was a role model for those who felt like bosses of their lives, Carries out there were ones always searching, Mirandas were the realists, and Charlottes of the world were the ones who know their own worth, are serious and intelligent and are not there to make you laugh at them.
Well, that was before.
And Just Like That introduced us to the main characters many years after the original series, so it’s okay to see they have changed. However, while some of those changes were good, many of them felt forced and frankly even unbelievable.
Take for example the whole “Miranda and her sexuality” conundrum! But with season 3 coming to its end soon, we now can say that all of that wasn’t as bad as what is happening now.
Season 3 finally follows Miranda in a normal relationship that seems to work out. Carrie is making progress with her work and relationship-ending with Aidan, even Seema seems to be happy in her current state. But Charlotte’s arc is getting worse and worse with each episode and now I feel like she is only there for comedic relief.
The Charlotte we know was sophisticated and clever, she has a purpose in life and a whole personality. Where is it now and who the writers of the show hate her so much that they only give her scenes where we feel sorry for her cringeworthy moments?
Episode 8 gave her vertigo and made her fall on a condom, and in episode 9 it happened again and it was literally the only time she appeared on screen. Frankly, when the showrunners gave Harry cancer, it seemed that her story got interesting at least because there was something that would have helped her grow.
However, right after making her face the possible death of her husband, the writers have turned it all into another joke, with Harry nonstop talking about his “nuts.”
I just want to understand why the creators of the show give everyone in the show more interesting stories than to a once the most important character of the original show? Feeling sorry for you, Char.
