Andor Season 2 Has Fans Obsessed With This Iconic Location Reveal

Andor Season 2 has just revealed the most important Star Wars location. Here’s more details on what it is and how it impacts the story.
The first three episodes of Andor 's second and final season have been released. The show continues to build towards the grand finale with a nice backstory on Yavin IV, arguably the most important location in the entire Star Wars universe.
The series bridges the gap to Rogue One, but also gives us a glimpse of how the Rebel Alliance came together.
Yavin IV Makes an Appearance in Andor Season 2
In the first episode of Season 2, Cassian lands on a mysterious, dark jungle moon. We don't know yet that this is Yavin IV in all its early glory.
Cassian finds himself in hot water. Between dodging the suspicious Maya Pei Brigade (who don't buy his “I'm on your side” story) and dealing with the moon's less-than-friendly wildlife, our hero has his work cut out for him. The iconic pyramids of Yavin IV make an appearance as Cassian finally makes his escape in Episode 2.
But even before the season came out, Tony Gilroy (Andor’s creator) confirmed that we’ll see Yavin in an interview with Collider:
“Tom Bissell is really cool and really, really interesting, versatile, really good writer. But also a very, very, very big Star Wars fan, which we really wanted to make sure we had another pro because we're going into Rogue One, and we're going to Yavin, and then we're going into places where we eventually need to really weave our way back to the source.”
What Fans Are Saying About Andor Season 2 Yavin IV Reveal?
“Alright i'm locked in now. The Yavin reveal at the end was perfect,” Redditor GeorgeZBush shared.
“When he first landed I thought “Is that Yavin?” and then I felt kind of dumb because obviously there's more than just one planet with those kinds of trees. But lo and behold! Super cool reveal,” Redditor uhhhchaostheory wrote.
“I was a little blown away by the reveal. Just a few years away from major change. I hope we see those self sabotaging ruffians become full fledged rebels,” Redditor Neilson509 said.
