The man, the myth, the legend, Brendan Fraser has recently made his triumphant return to the industry, leaving fans all around the globe ecstatic.

The star of George of the Jungle, The Mummy, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and many other movies has been missing for years — and now he's back at it after starring in The Whale in 2022. But there's more to the story than it seems.

Brendan recently admitted that he feels like an imposter, returning to Hollywood after all these years. It's been so long he now can't fully embrace the fact he's really, truly back: it feels too unreal. Besides, he's afraid to blink and lose it all again, the actor claims.

In his recent interview for NME, he said:

"I can't get rid of the feeling that someone's gonna tell me that I'm a fraud <...>. But I hope I never lose that, in a way, because I'm still not done proving myself yet."

While completely overwhelmed with his newly-found popularity, Brendan remains positive about any and all upcoming projects. Since he's been away for so long, The Mummy star feels like he needs to keep proving to the world and himself that he's the same man and actor he was in the 1990s, when his first wave of fame was taking place.

Still, everyone's beyond happy with Brendon's comeback. He got trending on Twitter quite a few times after The Whale — for the sole reason that people adore him.

"Like, I'm imagining Brendan Fraser 's publicist calling him like "You're trending on Twitter" and him going "Oh god, what did I do" and she says "Um...you're trending because everyone loves you" and I hope that gives him a warm fuzzy feeling," Twitter user madlori said.

When speaking about his plans, Fraser said that what he really wants and needs are new big challenges and that he's ready for them. Luckily, he's not the only one who thinks so: after the actor's return, there are a bunch of film directors lined up for him, including none other than Martin Scorsese himself!

It's pretty safe to say that Brendan Fraser is not going to get lost again any time soon: with so many offers and so much work to do, he'll remain in the industry and hopefully achieve even greater success than before. We can only wish him all the best and hope that this Brennasaince era lasts long and that the actor finds the peace and happiness he needs so much after all those tough years.
