What a time to be a Matt Murdock fan!

If you didn't have enough of Charlie Cox 's Daredevil in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, don't you worry. Not only is Matt Murdock slated to appear in his own solo show Daredevil: Born Again, but he might also discover himself in a handful of other Marvel projects, and guess what...

Speaking at a panel at German Comic-Con in Dortmund, Cox happened to hint that his character might be a part of Deadpool 3 due to the "tone" his solo show has.

"Because of the tone of our show, I think there's a place for Daredevil to show up in Deadpool. Would be really cool," Cox said during the panel.

This does not mean that the actor has just confirmed a Daredevil cameo of any sort in the upcoming Deadpool threequel. However, it might set up the stage for Matt Murdock's extended presence in the MCU. After all, Cox himself does not need to show up in Deadpool 3 to make it about him: Wade Wilson could crack a couple of jokes and even break the fourth wall (after all, Murdock has a history with characters who do so).

While some fans have immediately hailed the idea of Murdock appearing in Deadpool 3, others expressed concern that the threequel might very soon turn into a meaningless cameo festival instead of actually focusing on the story of the titular character.

Others were worried that Marvel was going to step away from Netflix 's darker tone of Daredevil for the sake of making Matt Murdock more MCU-appropriate — even though Daredevil: Born Again has recently been confirmed to be R-rated.

Deadpool 3 is due to hit theaters on November 8, 2024. The premiere date for Daredevil: Born Again is yet to be announced, but it is set to arrive on Disney Plus at some point earlier that year.
