Kamala Khan does not seem to be going anywhere.

It's been a week since 'Ms. Marvel' season 1 wrapped up and teased Kamala Khan 's return in 'The Marvels ', but it looks like the 2023 movie is not going to be the only project featuring Iman Vellani 's lovable superhero.

Speaking to The Direct, 'Ms. Marvel' director Adil El Arbi has dropped enough hints that could indicate that Kamala Khan's small screen journey is far from over. Not only will her powers grow and expand, as the first season only showed us "the tip of the iceberg" of what she can do, but also the audience can "grow with Kamala Khan", the director said.

"I think, power-wise, we saw just the tip of the iceberg of Kamala Khan. I think there is so much more she can do, and on that front, I think there's a big road for that, some more spectacular power," El Arbi said.

While not directly confirming that 'Ms. Marvel' is getting a second season, the director is clearly on board with continuing Kamala's story.

Vellani's character is expected to join Brie Larson's Carol Danvers and Teyona Parris' Monica Rambeau in 'The Marvels'. Set for a July 2023 release, the movie will push Kamala's story a bit further, but fans are clearly eager for more solo Ms. Marvel content. The show has become Marvel's highest-rated series yet, scoring a whopping 98% certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

Still, the studio is yet to update fans on 'Ms. Marvel' future. Season 1 concluded on July 13.
