Elizabeth Olsen muses Wanda Maximoff's future ahead of 'Multiverse of Madness' premiere.

The closer the release date is, the more chilling and exciting the wait for 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' gets. Elizabeth Olsen, who portrays Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch in MCU, has shed some light on what future holds for her heroine.

Scarlet Witch has had a tough time recently, and from what we know from the 'Multiverse of Madness' trailer, she does look ambiguous and threatening at times. But Olsen thinks Wanda will be able to reflect on herself and what she did.

"I think the reason why I really enjoyed Wanda from the beginning is that she's very clear in her beliefs. They just don't align with others, and that's okay. She'll have her own realizations and admit when she makes mistakes," Olsen says.

The upcoming movie definitely has something sinister for both Wanda and Doctor Strange, with the characters having to face a lot of surprises that the Multiverse can offer, among them, apparently, different variants of Strange and Maximoff themselves.

But it seems that Scarlet Witch will be loved by fans even if she opts for literally destroying the world – that's how much adoration Olsen's character secured after the tremendous success of 'WandaVision' TV series. The 2021 show marked Marvel's debut in televised projects – and broke a lot of hearts after telling the story of Scarlet Witch and her android husband Vision trying to escape the harsh post-snap reality.

In the show, Maximoff also started to explore her wizarding potential and even appeared to make first steps towards the Multiverse.

On May 6, we'll get a chance to see how that journey goes on, when 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' hits the screens.
