Teen Wolf became a global sensation after its debut in 2011 and introduced the audience to many talented actors who contributed to the show's raging success.

Needless to say, it would be hard to imagine anyone else portraying the beloved characters after following their journey for 100 episodes. But, as it turns out, that was a possibility, and we could've seen Noah Centineo and Evan Peters starring in Teen Wolf .

As you may already know, the creative mastermind behind Teen Wolf was the show's executive producer and writer Jeff Davis.

Naturally, he knows all the ins and outs of the supernatural hit series. And on the tenth anniversary of the show, he revealed some interesting details in an interview with E! News when discussing the teen drama's most memorable moments and behind-the-scenes technicalities.

Teen Wolf: The Movie Did Arden Cho Dirty Not Once, but Twice Already

When he got into the topic of the casting process, he disclosed some names of famous actors who almost took part in the series. And to the surprise of many, one of those names is Evan Peters, who's best known for his multiple roles in big TV hits such as American Horror Story and Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

According to Davis, Peters auditioned for the role of Stiles Stilinski which ended up going to Dylan O'Brien, who quickly became a fan favorite.

However, Peters wasn't the only one who almost made it to the show. Davis mentioned that among other actors who auditioned to join the drama was Noah Centineo, who had his breakthrough performance in the teen comedy To All the Boys I Loved Before and is also known for The Perfect Date. In fact, he tried out four times in the hopes of landing a role of a character that Davis didn't specify.

Now we can only wonder what the series would've been like with Peters and Centineo in the picture. Peters could've easily brought the darkness that everyone knows and loves him for to Stiles, especially when he was possessed by the Nogitsune.

Centineo, on the other hand, definitely has the makings of a dreamy werewolf and would've fit in perfectly. Despite not being cast in this series, these two brilliant actors went on to have successful careers. So, everything worked out for the best for both of them. But it would've for sure been exciting to get a glimpse of what they could've done with the characters!
