The rapper spent the fall campaigning in red, capped it with an AI Chucky in a "Vote Red" badge, and watched the doll's own creator declare him a Democrat.

The scoreboard first. Per the AP results cited by the Daily Beast, Mike Rogers — the Michigan Senate candidate Nicki Minaj campaigned for aboard Air Force One on October 25 — lost to Abdul El-Sayed by seven points. New Hampshire, where she appeared at a Derry polling site on Election Day, sent Democrat Chris Pappas to the Senate.

One X user ran the full audit:

"Every Republican candidate Nicki Minaj endorsed in the 2026 midterm elections have all lost to Democrats."

— an X user, quoted by Bossip

The r/Fauxmoi thread extended the same losing streak to Kid Rock's picks.

Her final pre-results post made it worse in a way nobody could have scripted. On Election Day she posted an AI-generated image of Chucky — pink suit, gold office tower, "Vote Red" badge — captioned "HAPPY ELECTION DAY!!!"

The doll's creator files a protest

Don Mancini, who created Chucky and has run the franchise for nearly four decades, answered in her comments:

"IMPOSTER. CHUCKY IS PART OF THE BLUE WAVE THAT WILL WASH AWAY ALL THE CORRUPTION."

— Don Mancini, in the comments on Minaj's post

Once the results landed, he posted a photo of a real Chucky doll with blue hair and the caption "Too bad, Nicki! No AI, by the way! #bluewave." Variety noted his fuller point: in canon, Chucky has a trans kid and is anti-ICE, so the doll was never available for this endorsement.

Fans in the thread lost it over the franchise-lore defense:

The endorsement that became a warning label

Minaj hasn't posted since the results; the Daily Beast describes her as gone silent. Her feed stops exactly where this story's images collide.

Minaj's last post before going silent was an AI Chucky in a "Vote Red" badge. The character's own creator answered with a real doll in blue hair.

The bigger casualty is the product she was selling. A celebrity endorsement is rented credibility, and Minaj's fall tour demonstrated it failing in public: every candidate who stood next to her lost, and the fictional character she drafted issued a statement for the other side. Any campaign shopping for a superstar in 2028 will be doing this math.

Don't miss: Colbert is off the air, and the sharpest Trump comedy now comes from Canadian public TV

The sarcastic version of that math was available within hours:

"Maybe we should have them endorse more politicians not fewer, then?"

If the streak holds, "endorsed by Nicki Minaj" becomes something you wish on an opponent.
