The summer is almost over, which means there might not be so many warm days of going out, but it’s still the best time for those waiting for the most popular TV shows to finally return.
Right after everyone’s fate will be decided at the upcoming Emmy ceremony on September 14, the next several months will see lots of new drops revealing what’s next for millions of viewers’ favourite shows.

‘Wednesday’

Netflix’s hit horror-ish drama series helmed by Tim Burton is coming back with the second part for its season 2 on September 3, with a third instalment now being in the works.
‘The Morning Show’
On Rotten Tomatoes, The Morning Show keeps scores of 67% and 34% from critics and viewers
On IMDb, the show rates 8.1/10
Starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, the journalist-themed drama comes back to Apple TV+ with its fourth season on September 17.
Just like before, the show will be releasing one episode per week, with the season’s finale arriving on the platform on November 19.
Something bad is about to happen at the iconic Arconia building once again — the show will be back with a new mystery in its upcoming season 5 on September 9, with new episodes being released weekly on Hulu until October 28.
‘Stranger Things’
On Rotten Tomatoes, Stranger Things holds scores of 92% and 90% from critics and viewers
On IMDb, the show is rated 8.6/10
Wrapping the entire story started all the way back in 2016, the mystery drama show will have its final season divided into three volumes, with all of them coming to Netflix on November 26, December 25 and December 31 respectively.
‘Slow Horses’
On Rotten Tomatoes, Slow Horses keeps scores of 98% and 88% from critics and audiences
On IMDb, the show rates 8.3/10
Led by Gary Oldman, the show is returning to Apple TV+ on September 24.
Now boasting of only six episodes, Slow Horses’ season 5 will be releasing one episode weekly until October 29.
‘Nobody Wants This’
On Rotten Tomatoes, Nobody Wants This has scores of 95% and 85% from critics and viewers
On IMDb, the show is rated 7.8/10
One of Netflix’s biggest comedy hits of last year, the show brings its story back to Netflix on October 23, with all episodes being released at once.
‘Monster: The Original Monster’
On Rotten Tomatoes, Monster holds scores of 51% and 70% from critics and audiences

Ryan Murphy’s controversial true crime drama anthology series doesn’t yet have a premiere date for its third season, though the new instalment, based on the story of convicted murderer and suspected serial killer Ed Gein, is expected to be released on Netflix this October.
‘Shrinking’

On IMDb, the show rates 8.1/10
Though Apple TV+’s hit psychological drama has recently wrapped its season 3 production, the instalment will likely be released in late 2025 or, in the worst case scenario, sometime in early 2026.
‘Emily in Paris’

The chic comedy drama show comes back with new European travels Emily is about to take.
The new fifth season which will bring the titular character to Venice will be released on Netflix on December 18.
‘Abbott Elementary’
